As a beginner without fancy gear, I thought this would be difficult… But the course is so accessible, fun, and easy to follow. I signed up to the course on a whim as a creative person having a bit of an extended block/crisis, and the fun, neon, 8-bit point-and-click adventure vibe of the course caught me at a good moment and appealed to my sense of fun 😃 It's totally reinvigorated my creativity through playing around with loops, FX, and mixing in the module exercises. I got so into one of the exercises I ended up in a total flow state and created a five minute track that I'm actually pretty pleased with 🤣 I really love the whole vibe! 🤩 The material is nicely paced, clear and well-thought out, and easy to pick up even for beginners (I'm an experienced "intermediate" 🤓) Laura is a fun, super friendly and helpful mentor/coach with music and mixing chops for days 💪 Already looking forward to the next module! I'M GONNA BE A MIXING BAD ASS!! I CAN FEEL IT ALREADY!🤘

I'm still at the very beginning, but I'm already thrilled. One lesson in particular really opened my ears: Laura goes through a whole song from her career and explains the mix in great detail. It's crazy how many nuances there are in a good mix that I would never have noticed before. You can feel Laura's passion, perfectionism and closeness to her students. This, combined with the helpful community, makes this course very special to me.

I've found the course really easy to follow and the simple step by step format as well as the playful tone has helped me get past perfectionism and mental blocks that have stopped me from getting any further with producing a song in the past.

I'm loving the course. I've learned more in Section 1 and 2 then I did in a udemy course I tried a couple years ago and lost interest.

This course has really helped me push past mental barriers I've had for a long time and I am finally seeing results after wanting to make dance music for over 25 years :) Excited to see where things go from here.
